Paihia is a town on New Zealand’s North Island. It’s known as a gateway to the dive sites and sandy beaches of the Bay of Islands.
At the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, a carved meeting house, a museum and a giant Maori canoe mark the site of the founding of modern New Zealand.
